Heathrow Express has introduced a major change to station operations with the introduction of ticket barriers while exceeding ambitious passenger targets and growing revenue.

NS Operator Flytoget

To properly explain Flytoget’s achievements over the past 12 months, we need to go back a few years. On 14 December 2014 their competitor, NSB, doubled the number of services to and from Oslo Airport. For many years, Flytoget had effectively been the only operator of passenger services on this line. After the timetable changes in 2014 many predicted doom and gloom for Flytoget’s future. How could they compete against an operator whose trains were almost as fast and almost as frequent – at half the price?
Even if things were tough, Flytoget held out and remained true to their product and services. The operator dared to continue being different, even if all the signs suggested they ought to conform. Flytoget celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2018 with a team of 314 proud employees!
