Airport Access Ideas Forum 2019

AAIF2019 Banner

We are very pleased to announce that Arcadis, the leading global natural and built asset design & consultancy, will hold the third Airport Access Ideas Forum at their offices in Kings Cross, London on Wednesday 17th July 2019.

Airport Access Ideas Forum is an interactive discussion event designed to highlight the changing mobility technology and behaviours and the key challenges airports will face in the long-term future to provide seamless and efficient ground transport access for passengers and employees.

This year the discussions will focus on Data and Digital Optimization for Passenger Experience at Major Transport Interchanges.

Integrated transport hubs need integrated transport solutions. The Forum is an opportunity to develop practical solutions in a collaborative, coordinated and sustainable manner.

Airports and other transport and infrastructure providers collect vast amounts of data which can be fundamental in developing customer-centric propositions. Arcadis is working globally to deliver integrated digital solutions and we are here to bring this collaboration to life.

We are now calling for speakers to present their key data challenges and solutions in short 5 minute presentations that will stimulate our discussions.

The event concept centres around quick panel sessions of maximum of 5 speakers who introduce their vision in 5 minute presentations. After each panel, the participants break into smaller groups, discussing specific issues. This way we create the opportunity for all event attendees to participate in the discussions actively, rather than being passive observers from their seats. After the event we will produce another Industry Recommendation Report, capturing the main themes and sentiments of the Forum. You can download the reports from the past two events here >>>

We suggest focusing on the following questions:

  • What is Big Data and how can airports utilise it to improve ground transport access?
  • How can Data be shared to create win-win scenarios?
  • What kind of digital transformation is needed for airports and ground transport operators to prepare for the Mobility as a Service?
  • How can data optimise non-aeronautical revenue?
  • What measures airports need to take to prepare for electric mobility?
  • What are the future ground transport services disruptors, airports need to be aware of?
  • What is the role of taxis in the future airport ground access environment?
  • What are the policies airports need to look at to be ready for the future ground transport?
